Acetic acid named ethanoic acid, sometimes called glacial acetic acid. It is an important chemical reagent and industrial chemical, used primarily in the production of cellulose acetate and synthetic fibres and fabrics. In the food industry, acetid acid is controlled by the food additive as an acidity regulator.
